But for summer weddings it is advisable to book in at least 6-9months in advance.

For winter weddings at least 4months in advance.

Once I've pencilled your wedding date in my diary, I will then look at when's best to arrange a first fitting.

You will still require a final fitting 3-6weeks before your wedding to allow for any weight changes, although its not advisable to plan on any drastic weight changes.

It is often thought that dresses cannot be altered if they are more than two dress sizes to big/small, but this isn't true.

No, the lace hem is unpicked and stitched back in place to the length needed.

Please bring with you the shoes you plan on wearing with your dress, and any accessories you would like to bring along.

Please could bridesmaids bring the underwear they plan on wearing with the dress. 

I don't usually recommend brides wear a bra with their dress, although it is possible to add cups if needed.

Firstly, I will take a look at the dress and the work required.

It is then likely you'll have 1-2 fittings, along with a final fitting when the dress is complete, to ensure the perfect fit.

Occasionally some brides do require additional fittings, although there is no extra charge for.

I am available Monday-Friday 9-2 and Saturdays 10-3 for collections and fittings, by appointment only.

Bridal appointments are booked out in 30minute slots, if your bridesmaids are joining you for their fitting then I will set aside additional time.

I am not available evenings or Sundays.

The cost of alterations vary depending on the work required and the style of dress.

If you'd like an idea on cost then please send me a picture of your dress and a rough idea of the alterations likely to be needed. 

Occasionally deposits are requested depending on the work required.

Payment for alterations is due before collection.

Payment is either cash or bank transfer.

For bespoke items payment for materials is requested in advance.

Yes. Parking is available in a side street off the main road. 

Yes, although it's not advisable unless necessary, due to sharp work equipment in my studio.
