For Vicky, I took in the waist, added support to the bust and shortened the hem. I also made bespoke, lace sleeves for the dress.
For brides who wish too cover their arms, this is a potential option for you.
Ashley's dress was too small, there wasn't enough seam allowance to let the dress out, and Ashley didn't want a corset back. So I added in panels to the back of the dress which I disguised with a matching lace.
For this option a matching lace or fabric is needed to ensure the panels aren't visible.
For Lianne I took in the bust and waist, shortened the hem, lifted the shoulder straps and hand stitched on the bridal belt. I also added on bespoke sleeves for which I sourced a matching lace.
Donna wanted more support and coverage across her bust, so I made a tulle and lace cover up, complete with beaded trim.
I also added bust darts and shortened the hem.
Charli's dress was far to big! The bride wanted her to match the other bridesmaids, so requested me to remodel a size 6 dress to fit 6 year old Charli.
Anita asked me to change the neckline on her dress into a sweetheart neckline. I also shortened the hem and took in the bust and waist.
For Sharon, I lifted the shoulder straps, shortened the hem, hand stitched the belt in place and took in the bust and waist.
If your dress is too small a corset back alteration is a popular choice, here is an example of one I completed for Stacey.
For May, I lifted the shoulder straps, shortened the hem, added a hook for the train, added in bust cups, hand stitched on the belt and took in the bust, waist and hips.
Ellen requested lace detail adding too her dress, for this Ellen picked a lace she loved, I then hand stitched it in place.
For brides who wish to customise their dress I have plenty of lace samples for you to look at. Along with bead charts for brides who want too add some sparkle to their dress.
